Michail Andreopoulos

PhD Student (Rotation) - Harvard Medical School, Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics

Current: PhD Student (Rotation) - Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics (BIG) PhD Track, Department of Biomedical Informatics, Harvard Medical School

Previous: Associate Computational Biologist - Harvard Medical School (Peter Park Lab)

Michail graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in Computational Biology and from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Physics. He previously worked as an Associate Computational Biologist in Peter Park’s lab at Harvard Medical School, where he applied mutational signature analysis and duplex sequencing to characterize somatic mosaicism and understand how mutations arise and accumulate. His research interests lie in developing mathematical models of tumor and disease evolution, with the broader goal of informing early detection and prevention strategies.
