Ignacio Vazquez-Garcia

Ignacio is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, with an affiliation in the HMS/MGH Departments of Pathology and the MGH Cancer Center. He is also an Associate Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Ignacio joined from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Columbia University in New York, where he was a Research Fellow in the MSK Computational Oncology Program and the Irving Institute for Cancer Dynamics. Before moving to the US, Ignacio completed his undergraduate studies at Imperial College London before attending the University of Cambridge for his graduate degree. His work has been honored with several awards including a Wellcome Fellowship, Sanger Early Career Innovation Award, and a AACR NextGen Star Award.
